The idea for Project Raveolution sparked when co-founder, Devon Taylor, went to massive (as in over 3000 people) rave in Chicago and thought, "Why isn't there something like this in Springfield!?" So, riding back to Springfield, he thought about it for a while, and just couldn't get the idea out of his head. When he arrived at home he told his roommate, Nolan Epstein (the other co-founder), all about it. (He basically rubbed it in his face.. as in "Haha, I just went to a massive rave and you didn't.")
Well, Devon just couldn't sleep that night. He sat there thinking, trying to figure out how he could make this work. He definitely didn't have the funds lying around to start a club on his own or anything like that. But wait, what about renting a venue, and throwing an event a couple or so times a month? That might work!
After finally going to sleep, he woke up the next day and told Nolan about the idea. Originally, the name thought up was Project Raveival, but then Nolan coined the name Raveolution, and we stuck them together.. and that's how Project Raveolution started.
After a lot of brainstorming and planning, things have finally started moving, and we are at the point where we can't turn back. With the first event on the horizon, there are lots of things to do, but one thing is for sure... this will be something like Springfield has never seen before.
